Ida Lou (Webb) Noojin December 8, 1934 – May 30, 2020

Ida Lou (Webb) Noojin, 85, of Brunswick, MO, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Valley View Health & Rehabilitation in Moberly, MO. Burial will take place at a later date in Elliott Grove Cemetery in Brunswick, MO.

Ida Lou was born on December 8, 1934 on the family farm in Keytesville, MO, the daughter of Walker and Ida Bell (Avery) Webb.  Ida Lou graduated from Keytesville High School in Keytesville, MO in 1952.

Ida Lou retired from Casey’s General Store in Brunswick, MO after 22 years.  She also worked for many years as a waitress at Sherry’s Home Cookin’ in Brunswick, MO and waitressed at numerous other restaurants in the surrounding area.  Ida Lou loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, playing cards, going to the lake, doing seek a word puzzles, embroidering, crocheting, sitting out on her deck in the summer, going to the senior center, hanging out at Sherry’s Home Cookin’, dancing (in her younger years), and going on road trips.

Ida Lou is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Still of St. Catherine, MO and Sharon (Matt) Young of Salisbury, MO; four grandchildren, Joseph (Erin) Evans of Mendon, MO, Brandon Gunn of Columbia, MO, Justin Still of Kansas City, MO, and Jared (Aby Ridgway) Still of Salisbury, MO; six great grandchildren, Gunner and Max Evans, Damien and Jocelyn Gunn, Tyler (Makayla) Nunley, and Elliot Still; one great-great grandson, William Nunley; and one nephew, Jimmie (Jeanne) Scott of Brunswick, GA.  She is also survived by her two very special friends, Roberta Bristow and Mabel Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one great grandson, Jacob Lee Still; her sister, Dora “Sissie” Scott; her brother, John Albert Webb; her brother-in-law, Elgie Scott; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Webb; and one niece, Sandra Munden.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Brunswick Pecan Festival or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Donations may be left at or mailed to Breshears Memorial Chapel, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO, 65236.
