Rejeana Ann (Daniel) Faes March 27, 1926 – January 25, 2020

Rejeana Ann (Daniel) Faes, 93, of Brunswick, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Big Bend Retreat in Slater, MO.  A private family burial will be held in Elliott Grove Cemetery in Brunswick, MO at a later date.

Rejeana was born on March 27, 1926 in Cherry Box, MO, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Barnett) Daniel.  Rejeana graduated from Novelty High School in Novelty, MO in 1945.  In 1961, Rejeana graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in Home Economics.

On June 26, 1949, Rejeana was united in marriage to Ray Faes in Cherry Box, MO.  Together they were blessed with two children, Mellany and Jeffrey.

Rejeana taught elementary school for 25 years at several local schools.  She also taught home economics, art, and was a Future Homemakers of America (FHA) advisor.  She was a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and a member of the Brunswick Homemaker’s Club.  She loved sewing, cooking, drawing, and painting.

Rejeana is survived by two children, Mellany Ann Faes of Hartsville, SC and Jeffrey Ray Faes of Dalton, MO, and three grandchildren, William David Jones of Chapel Hill, NC, Carson Ray Faes of Dalton, MO, and Jeremy Wayne Isom of Charleston, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents; six siblings, Darlene Parks, John Daniel, Phyllis Wilkerson, Jennell Bowen, Bill Daniel, and Joe Daniel; and her aunt and uncle, Felecia (Barnett) and Wes Greenfield; Rejeana was also preceded in death by her relative and dear friend, Lillian Fricke.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Chariton County Child Welfare Committee (Books for Children), First Presbyterian Church of Hartsville, SC (Prayer Shawl or Music Fund), or Kahlmia Gardens of Coker University.  Donations may be left at or mailed to Breshears Memorial Chapel, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO 65236.
