Adron Dewayne Sharp December 21, 1977 – February 13, 2019

Adron Dewayne Sharp, 41, of Brookfield, MO passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.  Funeral services will be held at Breshears Memorial Chapel in Mendon, MO on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating.  Visitation will be held at Breshears Memorial Chapel in Mendon, MO on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.  Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery in Mendon, MO.

Adron was born on December 21, 1977 in Brookfield, MO, the son of Darrel and Catherine (Risch) Sharp.  Adron graduated from Northwestern High School in 1996 and received his Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology from Linn Technical College in May of 2000.

He worked as a Corrections Officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections from 2006 until his passing.  Adron loved coaching his boys in multiple sports.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and target shooting with his boys.  He also enjoyed playing cards, playing pool, and being with his friends.  Adron was a member of MOCOA, Missouri Corrections Officers Association.

He is survived by his two sons, Owen and Cole Sharp of Brookfield, MO; his step-son, Tommy Lambert of Brookfield, MO; the mother of his children, Melanie Sharp, of Brookfield, MO; his mother, Catherine Sharp of Mendon, MO; his sister, Sylvia (Sharp) Younce of Knob Noster, MO; his brother, Darby Sharp of Warsaw, MO; his sister, Margie Sharp of Bucklin, MO; his brother, Ronald (Jessie) Sharp of Brookfield, MO; his brother Keith (Stephanie) Sharp of Brookfield, MO; and his close, personal friend, Jessica Thrasher, of Chillicothe, MO.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Adron was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Sharp, and several aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Aaron York, Travis Sharp, Kenny Sharp, Forest Lee Sharp, Dennis Storey, and Stacey Sharp.  Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Fry, Homer Epperson, Edwin Hill, Scot Green, Aaron Sanders, and Ty Epperson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Adron’s children.  Donations may be left at or mailed to Breshears Memorial Chapel, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO, 65236.
