Charles “Chuck” Henry McCollum July 31, 1954 – June 1, 2018

Charles “Chuck” Henry McCollum, 63, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at his home in Mendon, MO. A private service will be held at a later date.
Chuck was born on July 31, 1954 in Brookfield, MO, the son of Raymond and Jean (Hamilton) McCollum. Chuck graduated from Northwestern High School. After high school Chuck had several jobs in the community, including being a truck driver, working for KCP&L, and performing masonry work.
Chuck loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion church in Indian Grove, MO.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Randy McCollum; and great-niece, Hailey Joe McCollum.
He is survived by his father; two children, Beth McCollum and her fiancé, Jimmy Hendren, of Columbia, MO, and Brian McCollum and his fiancée, Crista Johnson, of Brookfield, MO; his step-son, Joey Martin and Stacey Snodrass of Brunswick, MO. eight siblings, Richard (Sue) McCollum of Mendon, MO, Kenney McCollum of Keytesville, MO, Della (Randy) Wolfe of Pattonsburg, MO, Judy (David) Lentz of Sumner, MO, Mark (Phyllis) McCollum of Marceline, MO, Kerry (Teresa) McCollum of Moberly, MO, Sherry (Denise) McCollum of Liberty, MO, and Mike McCollum of Brunswick, MO; fifteen grandchildren, Savannah McCollum and her fiancé, Brandon Adams, Charlie McCollum, Dillan McCollum, Ian Graves, Gage Graves, Abigail Graves, Adalinn Hendren, Austin Tutterow, Walt Martin-Snodgrass, Tucker Martin-Snodgrass, Jacob Lyons, Jordan Lyons, Ghunner Martin, Felicia McCollum, and Kaedence McCollum; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Family Choice. Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO, 65236.
