Jerry Gay White, 79, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence in Brunswick, MO. Memorial services will be held at Breshears Memorial Chapel, Brunswick, MO, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Chaplain Wally Landrum officiating. Inurnment will be in Elliott Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, MO.
Jerry Gay White was born on May 28, 1938 in Brunswick, MO, the son of Victor and Melvina (Underwood) White. Jerry attended school in Brunswick, MO. On January 18, 1958, he married Laura Wilson in Brunswick, MO. Jerry was a jack of all trades and worked as a general mechanic and bulldozer operator for several companies. He worked for Salisbury Ready-Mix for 15 years, Howard Quarries, and Allen Moseley for several years.
Jerry was a member of the local 101 International Union of Operating Engineers and served on the Brunswick City Council.
Jerry loved his family, his work, fishing, and duck hunting.
He is survived by his beloved wife of the home, Laura; one sister, Betty Jane (Jerry) Sims of Brunswick, MO; two children, Kathy (Wayne) Inman of Ogden, KS, Victor (Michelle) White of Brunswick, MO; four grandchildren, Tina (Jeremy) Legault of Waynesville, MO, Tiffany Edmonds of Ogden, KS, Jessy (Korissa) White of Brunswick, MO, Sasha White of Pearland, TX; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, George William White, Wendell White, and Edward White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Bell, Daryl Jacobs, Allen Moseley, Bill White, and Bill Nicholson.
