Karen Kay Elliott October 21, 1949 – July 12, 2017

Karen Kay Elliott, 67, of Brunswick, MO passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. Memorial services will be held at  Breshears Memorial Chapel, Brunswick, MO, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 6:30 P.M. Father Ronnie Elliott officiating. Visitation will precede the memorial service from 4:00 – 6:30 P.M. Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Brunswick, MO at a later date.

  Karen Kay Elliott was born on October 21, 1949, in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Virgil Dean and Clara Elizabeth (Strub) Lockard. She graduated from Brunswick High School. After high school Karen worked for Brunswick Distributing, then worked 10 years for Brunswick River Terminal (BRT), and was a secretary at Cargill for 17 years.  She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her seven grandchildren. Karen was proud of her grandchildren and loved nothing more than to spend time with them.

  Karen was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church. 

  She is survived by her beloved husband of the home, D. Gayle Elliott; one daughter, Celeste Gayle Elliott, Brunswick; two sons, Christopher Cole Elliott (Shannon), Triplett, Donald Jace Elliott (Nicky), Brunswick; one brother, Dennis Lockard (Joannie), Burke, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Katelyn, Asa Joe, Tate, Clay, Isabelle, and Jace. 

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Seig.

  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Westhoff, Rodney Dearing, Joey Seig, Brent Dickerson, Bobby Lockard, Ronnie Lockard, and Clifford Lockard. 

Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery or Pink Out.
