Billy James Warden, 84, of DeWitt, MO died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the BooneHospitalCenter in Columbia, MO. A Service of Celebration will be held at the DeWitt Christian Church on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Cremation. Billy was born on May 22, 1929 at Brunswick, MO the son of Harry James and Eula Lee Spencer Warden. He attended the BrunswickElementary School and later served his country as a member of the United States Army in the Motor Poll and the Military Police. He was married to Betty Joan Lybarger on August 29, 1949 at the Carrollton Mo Christian Parsonage. For fourteen years he had worked as a automobile mechanic at the J.P Spencer Garage and the Swell Motor Company in Brunswick, MO and Kassen Ericksen Ford in Carrollton, MO and twenty-two years for the Massman Construction Company doing River Construction. He was member of the DeWitt Community Club, the Local 663 Laborer’s International Union of North America, the DeWitt Christian Church and also attended the Triplett Christian Church. He is survived by his wife Betty of the home, and children, Billie Gay White and Jimmy Lynn Jenkins Warden both of DeWitt, MO; seven grandchildren, Shad White and his wife Tina, Shane White, Sharona Eiserer and her husband Cecil, Shaylee White, and Anthony, Jullian and Logan Jenkins and six great-grandchildren, BJ and Kira Hedrick, Alexis and Jagger White and Porter and Cecily Eiserer. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Allen Dale Warden, two brothers Harry Wallace Warden and Wesly Dale Warden, two step-sisters, Dorothy Hammer and Jesse Walker and one granddaughter Anna Delynn Jenkins Warden.
