Pauline Elizabeth (Grace) Koch September 10, 1921 – April 9, 2021

Pauline E. (Grace) Koch, Bosworth, MO, died on Friday April 9, 2021 at her home at the age of 99.  Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Brunswick, MO on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.  Pastor Theiss will officiate the service.  Visitation will precede the service from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M.  Burial will be at McCullough Cemetery near Triplett, MO.

Mrs. Koch was born at Richmond, MO, September 10, 1921, to Matthew Lee and Lottie (Wharton) Grace.  After her parent’s death, Pauline and her brother lived with Rudolph and Pauline Wiese of DeWitt, MO.  She graduated from DeWitt High School in 1940.  She later worked at the Lake City Arsenal during World War II.  She was married to William Richard Koch of Triplett on January 31, 1945 at Zion Lutheran Church in San Luis Obispo, CA.  In 1947, they bought a farm east of Bosworth where she resided until her death.  She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Brunswick, where she was also a member of Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School a number of years.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Brunswick, MO.

She is survived by three children, Ron (Toni) Koch and Doug (Terri) Koch, all of Bosworth, MO, and a daughter, Karalyn (Dick) Thompson of Trenton, MO; six grandchildren, Kerri (Tom) Zeilstra of Brunswick, MO, Kyle (Meghan) Koch of Overland Park, KS, Bradley Thompson of Walnut Grove, MO, Brian Thompson of West Yellowstone, MT, Laura (Brandon) Greer of Tina, MO, and Stephen Koch of Bosworth, MO; and seven great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Ruth Duffield of Mendon, MO and Doris Robbins of Buckner, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard; her parents, the Wieses; a brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Jean Grace; and brothers-in-law, Max Robbins and Robert Duffield.

Pallbearers will be Tom Zeilstra, Kyle Koch, Stephen Koch, Brad Thompson, Brian Thompson, and Brandon Greer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Brunswick, MO.  Donations may be left at or mailed to Breshears Memorial Chapel, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, MO, 65236.
